Every 15 seconds a child is orphaned in Africa. As many as 15% of them commit suicide each year, while 60% of female orphans end up in prostitution. These children are born into unjust circumstances with no resources to lift themselves up out of their situation, let alone stay alive.

JOIN US IN MAKING A DIFFERENCE...

Our first Micro Community is home to ninety children, now with opportunities, safety and provision that they otherwise would not have had. With your support, we have successfully built a strong foundation and are ready to move forward with purpose, innovation and dedication to improve and scale our model throughout Kenya. With land in place for two new Micro Communities, we ask you to partner with us as we raise funds through two events on Friday, June 29th, 2012, saying "not on my watch" to poverty and hopelessness, rather instilling empowerment, ownership and self-worth in Kenya's future generations.

(1) GOLF MARATHON - AFTERNOON EVENT

FORMAT DETAILS: Afternoon Round of 18 Holes Each | 2 Balls Per Hole
FUNDRAISING GOAL: Give or raise $1,000 as an individual or $3,000 as a threesome to meet our goal of $45,000 toward Capital Expenditures for continuing development of Horizon's micro-community pod in Kenya. All proceeds go toward the poverty-alleviating programs and services of our micro-community model.

(2) EVENING GALA

Whether you golfed in the afternoon or will only be joining us later in the day, we invite you to an informal evening of spirits, good food, live music, auctions, and Vegas appeal. Bring a spouse, significant other, or your guest of choice, and enjoy the evening with us!
